How do I order coffee?

The website presents our coffee selection, but we do not run an open webshop yet. Contact us directly and we will help with availability, quantity and delivery.

Where does your coffee come from?

All our coffee comes from small farms in Guatemala's volcanic highlands. We have direct relationships with the farmers and can trace each batch back to its origin.

How do you support local communities?

We partner with Mayan Families NGO to ensure fair payment and support education and health in coffee-growing communities in Guatemala.

How long does the coffee stay fresh?

We roast and pack coffee to order for maximum freshness. Store the package sealed in a cool, dark place. Once opened, we recommend using the coffee within 2-3 weeks.

We didn't start Kapalaj to sell coffee. We started because 6,000 farming families in Guatemala deserve more than a commodity price for extraordinary work.
