Who is responsible?

Contact enquiries

We use the name, contact details, company, message and product or service context you provide to answer and follow up your enquiry. Enquiries are stored in our internal Almost Sunday customer intake. The legal basis is steps before a contract where you are the prospective contracting party, or our legitimate interest in responding when you act for a business. We retain enquiries as needed for follow-up and any legal documentation requirements. Website hosting is provided by Vercel; customer intake uses OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare. Technical processing, including IP addresses, is needed to deliver and protect the services. We do not send contact form contents to Analytics.

Optional analytics

With your consent, Google Analytics 4 measures visits, returning visitors, traffic sources, scrolling, outbound links, downloads, contact clicks, product views and confirmed enquiries. Journal searches are classified into fixed coffee topics; the actual search text is not sent to Google. We do not send your name, email, telephone, message or enquiry reference. Page URL queries and fragments are removed from the initial page address; designated UTM campaign fields may be used separately for campaign attribution. Google receives visit and device data, including network information needed to process requests. No advertising cookies, Google Signals or Meta Pixel are enabled. The site currently has no checkout, so no purchase events are collected.

Google tags do not load until you accept analytics. Google Analytics is provided by Google Ireland Limited; processing may take place outside the EEA. See Google’s privacy policy and processing terms for processing and transfer information.

Storage and changing your choice

Your choice, policy version and timestamp are remembered locally under kapalaj-consent-v2 for 180 days before we ask again. Analytics cookies _ga and _ga_HQ4F9PWT6S last up to 180 days. Cookie duration differs from Google’s user/event data retention settings; aggregated reports may be retained longer.

You can reject analytics and still use the website. Change your choice through the button below or the footer. Withdrawal stops further measurement and removes Analytics cookies for this domain; prior lawful processing is not affected.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, object to legitimate-interest processing, and request portability where applicable. Contact hei@kapalaj.no. You may also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.
